And so the countdown begins. After today, there are 2 more full days before Thursday: the day I return to Colby. The day the pre-semester retreat begins for Colby Christian Fellowship. The day I'll be up to my knees in cookies for the incoming freshmen.
I took my brothers shopping today. For obvious reasons, they didn't want to go to the stores I wanted to so I'm heading back out to the mall area and Millcreek tomorrow.
I played The Sims a lot today. I like control. :-) But I find that all the people I create are very similar. There's not much variety in careers, personality, etc... But I enjoy playing God. I like living vicariously through them. Sad, isn't it?
Mom's letting me bring up her guitar, provided I string Dan's old one for Katie. Sounds like a good deal to me! I regretfully haven't played since Saturday so tomorrow I should bring it out for a bit of playing. Hopefully this semester I'll learn enough to play some simple songs. I'm debating whether or not I want to take flute lessons this semester. I don't want to drop the flute because I know down the road I will seriously regret it. Maybe I'll add it again senior spring.
I have so many e-mails to write. I can think of 6 people I either owe e-mails or really should get one from me. That will be first thing on my list of things to do tomorrow: write e-mails.
And get the chorale roster in order. Bah -- that's another e-mail or two right there. I'll do that tomorrow afternoon/evening.
Right now, it's about time for bed. Good night all!
