The joys of shopping.
I found this in the Gap today and fell in love with the flax linen color.
Sooooooooooooooooooo tempting. Almost did it. It would have been the most expensive item of clothing I have ever purchased. $68. But, sense restrained me...but man, I would have gotten a heck of a lot of use out of that thing.
Instead, I purchased four items at Old Navy for about the same price as I would have paid for the skirt. Even so, I'm feeling like I "wasted" money, even though I have no summer clothes. I got two camisoles (I've never owned one in my life, but I needed them for the outfit), and this skirt and this shirt in brown. I like them, but part of me thinks I waaaaaaaaaay overspent. But, these are the prices clothes are coming in now...and there was *nothing* compelling on clearance. Nothing.

I still need a couple more summer items if I'm going to survive. I'm pretty much going exclusively with skirts...or shorts that don't look like glorified underwear.
