Just waking up...
Back at Drew, where the craziness starts up once again.
I'm really not trying to think of all I have to do, but just take each day as it comes. I think that's a good way to preserve my sanity.
Beth rearranged the apartment common room while I was gone, and it looks a lot better than it did. Much more open. We still need a rug and to do something about the mess of tv cables we have going every which way.
I have a stack of library books that unfortunately didn't get read but need to go back soon. *sighs* I wish I had more time for recreational reading...or I wish I read faster. It's funny, because Ben tears through books like nobody's business. He'll read one of the "Cat Who" books in a couple hours, whereas it'll take me most of an afternoon, if not the better part of a day. Meh.
Good news: I passed my SPRC meeting. My charge conference is May 21st, and then DCOM is May 23rd. I received an e-mail from the registrar letting me know what materials I needed to submit before the meeting. A notarized background statement? A background check? 3 references? Copy of completed Form 104 (what is form 104?)? Yeesh. Not much time to get these things in!
On top of this, I need to find a summer tutoring job and apply for scholarships.
Oh, and for the record...I have made peace with my phone. It gets reception in my apartment, which is good news. Yay!
