Mish-mash

So it's 11 PM, and I still need to do a preperation log for New Testament tomorrow. Right. That's getting done before my 8:30 precept.

I was social this evening and went over to Kevin's house with a few others to watch March Madness begin. Woah to Duke losing to LSU. We weren't rooting for anybody in particular, but our sympathies ended up laying with LSU, mainly because Kevin's brother had picked them to win, and Kevin had picked UConn. So Kevin's that much closer to winning his bet.

I'll must admit, it was nice to get out for a bit. Good company (even though Ben wasn't with us...sadness...), good laughs...generally a good time.

This weekend is going to kick my butt. I need to do my taxes so I can file my FAFSA by April 1st, do laundry, read for my Church History rough draft of the life of Charles Wesley.

On top of this, Admissions will be busy tomorrow as I scramble to get things (mostly) in place for next week's visits. I always get antsy when Friday rolls around and these things aren't settled yet. Theoretically, we should have them completely done (with student hosts!) one week before the prospective student comes. Our problem, however, has been finding willing hosts. I'll e-mail 5 or 6 people, and no one will get back to me. Once Karen and Kevin get back, I want to have a talk with Karen...perhaps have her send out an e-mail to the people we generally ask to host reminding them that this is a ministry we're doing. It's just frustrating though. *headdesk*

Which brings me to the next thing I need to do: find a job for the summer. If admissions won't take me, I'll probably try and find a temp. bank job in the area. I can teller-it-up another summer if I have to. But yeah. I need a job. Perhaps I'll see if there are any church jobs in the area...

It's bedtime. I'm tired and need to sleep.
