CEEF or whatever the acronym is...
So we get this newsletter in the mail today for the Cape Elizabeth Education Foundation or whatever. I was skimming some of the articles on the computer lab they're planning on having, and I'm thinking to myself, I'm part of the last generation who learned math not using a computer. We learned calculus by hand and we didn't need computers asking us questions if we needed help. This "Acheivement Center" is to be a complete waste of money and resources. I'm sorry, but having a computer lab with "powerful" software isn't going to help students "succeed" in their "education." Maybe I don't know a lot about education, but I think having this in a place such as Cape is a waste -- these kids don't need help. Bring back the old administration! 4 years ago the high school was in a much better place than it is now...
