*applause* Do you realize how happy I am just to see this posted after so many, many months? I feel like hugging the fic and going, "Welcome home!"

Anyway...My favorite part is the opening scene, which I know I've told you before, but I'll tell you again. The sheer beauty of the poetry is just...amazing. I really can't think of any other words that could even begin to describe it. I just love that opening sequence so much.

I'm just so excited to see this story finally brought to life. It makes me want to flap my hands like a little excited kid and giggle for it. Heh. :D

Also, in the fourth paragraph: "There are three thump, thump, thumps in this battered metallic frame that once was a beautyand American...", I think there's a space missing between "beauty" and "and."
