I've never used the ljapp before so WARNING this post contains spoilers for the final Harry Potter movie. If you dont want to read my.thoughts on it jyst stop reading. Ok.
Helena as Hermione was my first OMG FLAIL moment of the movie.
Not gonna lie, as soon as I saw the dragon in my head I had Darren going "Hey there Dragon... you don't gotta do this..."
The shirtless felt so gratuitous to me, but I was so high on THIS MOOOOVIE that I didn't even care.
And then for the whole rest of the movie I was basically going NEVILLE 0.0 and fanning myself. What's hilarious is that any time anyone asked me what I was looking forward to, I said Neville. But it was just because he's my favorite character and my favorite part of the book. I was not expecting the tidal wave of OMGLUST.
Greyback and Lavender gave me chills, too. It took me a second for that to click in my mind and I had a whoaFUCK reaction.
Everything about the pensieve scene was flawless to me. I might end up having different opinions when I watch with a bit less flail but right now, flawless.
The "finish the way we started" was without a doubt my LEAST favorite part of the film. Less of that, more actual Hogwarts battle action. Colin Creevey! They could have fit Colin in with a bit less magical journey of awkward embracing.
But overall, AMAZING. Except the epilogue, but BAMF Neville and Snape ;_; and basically everything else made up for it.
