about my bday
okay people need to stop reminding me that my birthday is next week. I know. It has been July 13th for the past 21 years don't think it is going to change on the 22. lol.
I appreciate that so many of you have remembered though. ;) Okay I know that I usually do some type of trip for my birthday, but I am sorry to inform you that I am planning no such trip this year. I am spending my day working at summer camp and I will probably be too tired to move after so i will probably spend my bday drinking at home. You are all of course welcome to join me. As for presents... the rule is the same as ever. Don't. Cards, emails and phone calls are acceptable but otherwise let's face it. it is just another day. I will say however I have recieved a lot of interesting gifts so far. Case in point Marcie bought me a kitten. I am not talking about a stuffed kitten it is a living breathing kitten. I came home from work last week and my room mate Nicole said your friend Marcie left you a birthday present in your room. I open the door and their is a kitten sleeping on my bed. I shit you not. so that was interesting. Other gifts include my friend Dave giving me a slip for driving lessons (he wants to teach me how to drive a standard) anyone who has ever been in a car with me knows how dangerous that present is, another was my friend Mike flying all the way over from Ireland to surprise me On June 13th because he thought that was when my bday was! So basicly to sum up. Gifts are a nice thought but would rather not recieve any. It is the thought that counts. No big trips this year. O and for those of you that work at the Y. I know what you are planning to do on my bday at camp and so help you all if you do. I will get you back!!! Thanks for those you remembered my bday. and happy 4th!!
