(no subject)
I figure I should update y'all since my last rather emotional post. Housing is still the same. Me and Ali and two random people in VanderBorgh. I figure that I will pray about it, and God will place the two people who are meant to be there in the other half.
I am feeling much less emotional about the whole thing. I have talked to several of the girls, and we are now on more similar pages. Not necessarily the same one, but I dont expect us to always see eye to eye. Then it wouldnt be exciting, right!? lol
Well...I went home for church this past weekend to partake in the 30 Hour Famine probably for the last time at Westwood if not for good. I love the weekends, they are tons of fun. I have done it a total of 9 times now. I think Ive raised atleast $50 each time. So that means that I have fed 900 kids for a day. Thats kindof cool to think about. Someday I want to travel as a nurse to Africa. I want to meet Oliver Kaasimmi, the child our family supports through World Vision. She lives in Uganda. Meeting her is a life goal of mine. That would be so cool.
Since I have been back at Hope things have picked up right were they left off. Classes are as demanding as ever. I have my second MicroBiology exam Friday. I didnt do too hot on the first one, so I need to do really well this time. Tonight I will be studying for that and writing a 3-5 pager on my 4 hour nurse shadow last week.
Busy busy busy. I had better get working or Ill be up darn late again. I swear you learn to function on amounts of sleep in college you would never DREAM of in HS. I am HAPPY with 6-7 hour nights. Insane.
