6 weeks and counting

The baby's room is finally painted--Louis had to repaint a lot of it because the eco-friendly milk paint caused some of the old lead paint to chip off. :-(

We've got the crib, car seat, play yard, and stroller...

I've taken breastfeeding 101, Infant and child CPR, and childbirth classes. We've rented baby care basics videos....

I should feel ready.

I still don't have a "good" nursing bra for these huge new breasts of mine. Silly me, I thought that I should have underwire, but apparently that can cause some problems with the milk ducts. So, now I have to find something with support and no underwire. Does such a thing exist?

I'd also like to find an affordable glider/rocker which isn't butt-ass ugly. Everything I find that looks half way decent costs way more than I can afford to spend. But, I refuse to buy something for the nursery only. It should look good enough to put in the TV room later which means the fabric needs to be washable or it needs to have a slip cover.

What else do I need? Lots and lots of diapers....and prayers/meditation/good vibes to make it through the sleepless nights that will be coming in the next month or so.
