The future

So I'm back for my first normal update in a long, long time. I know this is what you've all been waiting for so I'll get right to work on making this a good update (and by you I mean whatever person stumbled across my journal on accident and is now taking a look around).

Yesterday evening I was thinking. What will be my future? I know it's not a good thing to think, for one should concentrate on the present moment. Nevertheless, I was thinking about it. I thought, and I thought, and I thought, until I came to two grand conclusions - 1. I need money. and 2. George Benson could very well be Jesus.

There's one small problem though - I ain't got me no job. And as it turns out, it's really hard to make money when you don't have a job. Who would've thought? Unfortunately, I really can't maintain a good job whilst school is in session. It just doesn't work like that, especially now that I'm taking that AP class and I'll be working on the newspaper (which, btw, I'm not so much looking forward to anymore). As such, I'll probably have to find some sort of odd jobs to do.

And so another problem arises. What kind of odd jobs can I do? Well, I think I might have my solution. Fall is coming and people's yards will be a mess. Now, since we all know that people are lazy fucks, they'll pay fistfuls of cash just to have me mow their lawn and clean up their leaves and what not. Alas, however, my obstacles aren't at an end - I'll have competition.

Turns out there's a kid who goes around my neighborhood and has himself a nice little lawn care business. He's quite the entrepeneur, if I do say so myself - Has flyers (?sp), good equipment, lots of customers. Hell, he could be the next Donald Trump (god I hate that guy and his bad hair). Only one small problem for him though - he's retarded.

I think I've sunken down to a whole new low - putting handicapped people out of business to make money. I think I might be going to hell for this one.
