Art: Not Quite Beatles?
Wow. It's been about a month since I posted any art here. But as it happens, I fell and sprained my wrist the day after my last bit of art... so I haven't exactly been able to produce anything. Now that I'm recovered, I plan on trying to find more time to create art... but it gets kind of difficult balancing the hobby on top of school and work. Oh well. Enough rambling.
Yesterday, on ontd_beatles it was Dhani Day. Now seeing as I don't (or rather, didn't... that's all changed now) have any Dhani pictures to post there, I went and did what I could do - make some art. It's kind of funny that both pieces here are of entirely different quality... probably because while I can colour and make portraits digitially in photoshop (I use grids and references), I cannot cartoon on a tablet. It just doesn't work. (I thought about doing it on paper, but decided that would simply take too long.)

Notes: This looked nice enough as it is though I didn't like the stark white background. I couldn't decide on how to do it though, so I just ended up putting a texture filter over top. And WOW did it do something special! You discover something new every day.
