My cheeks are pretty swollen today. And it hurts more than yesterday but it just means now I REALLY can't talk and it's very difficult to eat. So liquids all the way! I also got my period today which actually isn't SO bad because the anti-inflammatory pill I have to take would work on my uterus as well. And whichever pain is worse would take my mind off the other!
But I'm not updating to squick you all with bodily details. I saw that JK Rowling updated the FAQ section of her site with a few new questions. For all fic writers and fan artists who ever cared, we now know that Moaning Myrtle was a Ravenclaw, and Nympadora Tonks was a Hufflepuff. Another question asked what Draco Malfoy's Patronus is, to which Rowling answered he's never been able to conjure one because his magical capabilities are not that advance (HAHAHAHA!!!). Then were something about his wand - it's made of hawthorn wood or something.
The INTERESTING bit, however, was she answered the question about what happens when a Secret Keeper dies. The secret does indeed die with them, in the sense that the status of the secret remains as it was at the moment of the Secret Keeper's death. While this doesn't shed any new light on the issue of Godric's Hollow (did it become visible after the secrets inside - James and Lily - died, the house destroyed, and so THAT'S how Hagrid was able to find Harry? Perhaps Book 7 will reveal the answer.) but it does answer the question of what happens to the Order Headquarters now?
Dumbledore was the Secret Keeper of 12 Grimmauld Place's whereabouts. I think it's safe to assume that, as it was the headquarters for the Order of the Phoenix, all the members were given its location by Dumbledore back in the 5th book. When Harry told Dumbledore he gave the Order permission to keep using it as HQ after Sirius' death, it remained as is. As such, with Dumbledore now dead, the house is still open to every Order member who were informed of its location before Dumbledore's death. Therefore, there's not much difficulty left in the wake of his death with regards to the status of the secret. The only problem which now arises is new members to the Order who had never been given access to Grimmauld Place would not be able to meet there. This could cause the Order to have to relocate.
But first, however, they need to try and get themselves in order. With Dumbledore dead they're kind of like a chicken without its head. It always seemed that each member kept their missions a secret from everyone else and only Dumbledore knew everything. With this being the case, it'll be a very difficult challenge piecing the organization back togeher. But we shall see in July how this works out.
