I definitely had a good weekend.

Mar 13, 2006 00:15

So I spent my weekend at a touchy-feely psychology seminar at which I met a tall, blue-eyed redhead with lust-worthy forearms. He reminds me so much of Max Martini/Billy Cooper that I couldn't keep my eyes off him. And, he had one of the sexiest low, rumbly voices I've ever heard in real life ( Read more... )

LUST-WORTHY FOREARMS!!!!1

He held your hand? Oh god and the hugs and I am just jealous.

Did he smell good?

Yes, god yes he did smell good. I knew you'd see right to the heart of the situation. There was just the tiniest hint of smoke (which I normally hate but just a little touch of it reenforced the whole Billy thing) and It's a good thing I don't know what cologne he wore, because then I'd just have to buy a bottle and um... spill it all over my bed.

I'm so freaking shallow, but I love those seminars in part because people get emotional enough to abandon anxious one-arm hug things where they're doing more patting than hugging. Those two hugs were the real thing-- I was wrapped firmly in two strong arms, my face in the side of his collar, and then he was rumbling directly into my ear. GUH.

He wore these fantastic jeans and ROLLED UP HIS SHIRTSEEVES!! But it was the voice that did it. I wish you could've been there.

Mel! That is exactly how he would smell in my head. Like he lingered in a bar just long enough to make it his own, you know? And I am convinced that Don smells like Verbena & Lemon.

I would not have wanted to let go from that hug. I would have clung to him like a drowning woman to a raft. Rumbling voice and ROLLED UP SHIRTSLEEVES! I would have fangirled and gripped your hand my dear.

The cologne definitely had a citrusy note-- something like the bergamot that scents earl grey tea? Yummy. I did NOT want to let go evar.

Verbena and Lemon for Don? Interesting-- will have to smell that in the near future. I would have pegged him for Cool Water or something... there but not there, you know?

RL is so not fair in that I don't have you to fangirl with. I will let you know if Mr. Hot Redhead signs up again-- wanna come visit me and learn about psychological stuffs? and get hugs etc

It was. I feel as if I sound like I'm gloating, and I hate that because it isn't my intention. It's just that I needed that attention badly, and my flist are the only people who

a)know who Billy is and so will really get what all the fuss is about.
b)won't tease me in ways I can't tolerate.
c)can't tell him I think he's hot or play cupid or bug me too much to ask him out-- he's an athlete, and I'm, well, not. We live in different states, etc. etc.

I wish all of my flist happy encounters with hot, sensitive men or women. *floats away on a happy pink cloud*

I wanted to, trust me.

But-- he lives in another state, and he's a triathlete, and I'm a shy nerdy writer. I just didn't figure it would work. You can bet I will be dreaming of it for a loooong time.

He might even come back sometime, which would SO make my month.

icongasm! That is so hot. melissima March 14 2006, 00:49:19 UTC
A very good point! Thanks for your support. ;} You know, you could visit for the seminar... I could always tell you if he signed up! Then we could convince Ley to make the trip, and Chan, and we'd all just fangirl him together!!

If I got a chance to talk to him more, I might get the courage to find out whether we had much in common.
