LOL, Melissa! Your subconscious is working OVERTIME . . . it's time to punch the clock for the day.

Yeah, when you start throwing in characters willy-nilly, it's time for a break! I have this bad habit of writing new stories into my stories to try to illustrate things, but when the book is already this long and complex, that is bad news. I gave this character a sister who hadn't existed before and wasn't ever going to show up in the story, just so he could make a point. So time to go back and rethink. There's got to be another way to make the same point.

They're like rabbits! It's a bad habit of mine, tossing in new characters to solve problems. But this story is already way too crowded. Need to figure out another way to fix the problem without creating new people!
