I decided that I'm going to curate another show. Don't know when it's going to go up or where, but I'm in the process of searching for a venue to hold it in. I expect it'll be another 6 months to a year before it happens, but I'm excited! The theme is going to be a study on Maldoror by the Comte de Lautreamont, so brushing it up then putting something out should take all participants quite a while. Of course, still accepting entries.

I've been working on laying out a catalogue for a DJ equipment distributor in Bay Ridge. This'll be a crowning achievement for my graphic design portfolio and hopefully I might be able to get more freelance work in that field. It's where the moneys are at.

Also been building up some website achievements. I recently finished up www.rebeccamemoli.com - Rebecca designed it in Photoshop and I coded it into reality. Tim, the boyfriend and animator supreme, created the door rollover gifs.

Rebecca also has an upcoming art show here in DUMBO, Brooklyn, with Phillip Toledano, another photographer, entitled PHONE SEX: Real and Imagined. The press release is here: http://rebeccamemoli.com/pspressrelease.pdf and there was a very nice write up for her in the Brooklyn Paper: http://brooklynpaper.com/stories/31/43/31_43_as_phone_sex.html
I'll be bartending the event, so everyone should come out and drink and view the show. I am indeed in the press release image.

Next up, I'll be finishing the website for Bear Party Collective. Yay websites!

And finally, I've been getting into face painting. Dolled myself up for Halloween, which is viewable in my Flickr gallery. It was tons of fun and I really want to paint more faces. GIVE ME YOUR FACE TO USE AS MY CANVAS!

The design wasn't original, as you can see the original I based it off of in my gallery. But seriously, tons of fun and must do more.
