So I put a piece in the Umbrella show, by the artist collective
Arts4/Bonac Tonac out in the Hamptons.
It was my Dumbo Octopus piece from my senior year and my very first silkscreen ever.
And... it sold! I got the call about it today around 11AM. And it sold so hard that I was asked to fork over my second and only other artist's proof so people would stop fighting over the one and only in the show.
I hope that I never stop getting this giddy over selling an artwork.
This also reminds me how I am destined for the silk screening studio. I need to get back to mah inks!
So excited!
