Angels and kittens and dragons, oh my!
Yesterday I felt almost human again, and an angel kitty sketch I've been wanting to do for a while got not only sketched, but partly painted! Today was a bit of a backslide though... I didn't fall asleep until almost 10 am!! So, I got up at 4 feeling distinctly unrested and crappy. It's a good thing I didn't have anything I had to do this week, but at the same time, I haven't been able to accomplish all the things on my to-do list and take advantage of a week off. Last night I did a pretty little chart of paintings I've done, want to do, and must do for my shows later this summer; I decided I must do:
* Another black-winged angel (for my website redesign)
* An angel kittens painting (which I started!)
* 2 dragon paintings (I have a long list of dragons I want to do, but this is the bare minimum!)
* 2 white-winged angels (watercolor)
* One more fairy painting
Seven paintings... which can be a year's worth for me, depending on their level of details! Luckily only the black-winged angel should be difficult/time-consuming. I'm about to get started on a new dragon painting... as you can tell, I'm in my starting-a-painting mode, rather than my finishing or daydreaming mode! I really only need to finish her hair & dress and Summer Dreams will be done, but I keep starting new paintings instead. Though at the moment, given I'm half asleep, anything I get done I'll be grateful for!
