Stupid colds and lots of art news!
Haha the last time I posted was my dad's birthday, and today's my mom's! She doesn't read this (thank goodness!) but Happy Birthday Mom!
I'm actually up at 8 am for once since I got a stupid cold when I was home last week, and got less than 2 hours of sleep last night thanks to this hacking cough. I'm watching Harry Potter 2 right now, but I'm contemplating curling up in bed with the book instead, so I can hopefully fall asleep at some point. I'm almost done with "Summer Dreams" (my next fairy painting), and I'd love to work on that later today as well.
I have tons of good news on the art front as well! I recently signed with cross stitching company "Stab and Stash," so many of my paintings will be turned into cross stitch patterns. Several of them are already up here, with many more to come soon! I'm also a new artist over at Ellen Million Graphics, though I won't have my page/products up for a bit. Stay tuned for that link as well! Finally, I've also been accepted as a vendor for the Marion County Fair, so I'll be selling prints and products in Salem, Oregon from July 10-13. It is going to be four EXTREMELY long days (think 7 am to 11 pm at the fair alone!), but I'm very excited.
So all that stuff has been keeping me plenty busy. My visit home was super fun, though since I was always so busy it wasn't really a vacation! And since we've gotten back we've been cleaning the new apartment, and of course getting sick. Hopefully most of the hard stuff is done for a while so I can get some hard-core painting done!!!
