Procrastination is the word of the day!
Sooo I'm updating my LJ as a way to procrastinate. I have a 15 page paper due Tuesday, and since I'm going out of town on Saturday, I neeeed to get it done ASAP. However, I have no desire whatsoever to write a 15 page paper, especially one about e-books. I've been doing the research today, but writing it is like pulling teeth. Which, at the moment, I may prefer!
Things have been oh-so-crazy around here... Tim and I moved apartments for 3 straight days last weekend, which meant this week was spent getting the new place in shape (it's still not!) and getting stuff like the internet (finally!!) installed. Unfortunately, more than anything in the world, I have wanted to paint this week, but I haven't gotten a chance. Which always seems the case these days! I can't wait until school's done for the summer, so I can get to work on all my WIPs. And start getting stuff together for Faerieworlds! Ugh, though I do have to write a lot of my thesis this summer. Auuugh, I will run away to the mountains and paint for two months if the world doesn't leave me alone! Just try me!
Did I mention I've been bitten by the dragon bug? Though I always have fairy & angel paintings in mind, lately I've developed a long list of dragon paintings I really want to paint. So, I plan to add several dragons & winged animals to my portfolio before the summer's over. Plus three more fairy paintings (two of which are almost done!), and at least two more angels. Now if only I could start working on them! Okay, off to write about the pros & cons of e-books...
