Big update!

It feels longer since I've written on here than it's actually been! I guess that's cuz so much has happened.

For those wondering, I did indeed manage to get my stuff together for the show. That is to say, by working until 3 am each night (and getting up at 7 am for the show!), I mostly had all my merchandise together. The festival itself was SO fun!!! I've always loved Renaissance fairs, and though this was on a much smaller scale, it definitely had that medieval feel. My mom-in-law decked me out in a Renaissance outfit (omg corsets are crazy!), and Tim didn't recognize me when I got back to the booth! The cloth & decorations I got for my booth seemed to work well... I should post some pics on my website, in the past shows section.

Oh yeah-- my website's up! Spellboundwings.com. I worked on it non-stop once the fair was over, since I really wanted to have it up last week. Now I can see why people don't hand-code these things! And I still have to update a bunch of stuff on it. But, that was good. Also, I not only got into Elfwood, but Angel Hearts Break Too got Moderator's Choice!!!!! I'm still so stoked about that. I've heard mixed things about Elfwood, but I'm glad I joined!

So, now I'm just actually taking some time and PAINTING!!!!! YAY! I haven't gotten to work on one of these new pieces in over a month. I was going crazy! I think I'm going to call this one "Enchanted Ivy" or something... I'm dying to finish her and post her, cuz she is definitely one of my favorites. I feel very peaceful when I look at her, which is good :) Well, I was feeling peaceful, until one of my classmates did something to really piss me off. It wasn't a huge thing, but one of those things that just gets under your skin when it happens. Grrr. I'm trying to distract myself so I can calm down and go to sleep. Should I stay up and work on her? Sleep? I think my bed is calling to me... so I can go lie down and think about what I need to paint on her tomorrow ;)
