Update galore!
Well, I'm back from the Bay in one piece, but I think I brought home a cold! I'm not terribly sick, just a little stuffy with a sore throat and a bit fuzzy-headed. Hopefully I can kick it ASAP!
Because, I have been given my location in Vacaville, and I am DEFINITELY vending at the Medieval Fantasy Festival next weekend!!! I had a very happy morning, with TWO different shipments of supplies arriving, and a call from my tent company to tell me I should get it this week. So, I am about to make a few to-do lists for the next two weeks, and maybe start printing some products off. I REALLY need to get this website up, but I have a bit more painting to do til I can. I know, I know, I need to get to work!
In other good news, we found bridesmaid dresses! They are SO non-traditional, it knocks my socks off. They're a deep purple, with black lace/netting over them, with flower designs and sparkles. Very gorgeous, very gothy, and I still can't believe the mums okayed them! I had such a blast on Sunday-- it was my mum & sis, Tim's mum & sis, his aunt & cousin, and my best friend/old college roommate. We spent the day in the city, shopping for the dresses and getting lunch, and it was my favorite day in a while.
Did I mention that my plane down to California was delayed because of "mechanical problems?" I had a very nervous 1.5 hour flight. Last night was smooooth, thankfully. Came home and watched two Battlestar Galactica's with my Tim. It's good to be back, but now of course I miss my family. That's always the way it goes! I'll be back down in a little over a week, though. I can't wait!
