Sleep thoughts

Well despite the lousy start to the day (and the incessant bad luck with fantasy baseball), it ended up being pretty good. Tim wanted to do an in-house date night (my favorite kind!), which consisted of a massage, watching a few episodes of Millenium, and some Oreo ice cream. And lots of snuggling! It's nice to feel extra-loved sometimes :)

I managed to clean out the majority of this plastic drawer set, which will be my new business drawers. I found a bunch of pics and notes from middle school through college, which put me in a nostalgic and semi-melancholy mood. But I not only got that done, I scanned in the sketches I needed to, and transferred all my old paintings from my last laptop to my external drive, in preparation for putting them on the website. All in all, I managed to make this a productive day... but for some reason, I find myself doing the scut work instead of the painting part! How odd, since normally this would be the sort of stuff I avoid...

Tim and I signed up for another fantasy baseball league, so we have a draft eeearly at 11 am tomorrow. Yikes-- that's in less than 9 hours! I want to make it to the local Rabbit Society meeting tomorrow night, and I need to go to Michaels and Office Max since it was pouring so much we didn't go today. It's so hard to go to bed though--- I absolutely love this time of day/night, when everything is silent and dark, and I'm focused and getting stuff done... I am the epitomy of the stereotypical "night owl." Which is funny, cuz I adore pre-dawn and the time of morning when the sky juuust starts to lighten... of course, I normally see that while lying in bed for hours, trying to sleep!
