Rah rah
Tiiiired. Been painting hardcore today. I'm so excited, not to jinx it, but this one is looking good! Pretty close to what I'd envisioned, which rocks. I thought about putting up a WIP, but I'd rather surprise with the finished painting. The subject matter is a bit different, as is the style. I still can't decide if I like acrylics or watercolors better... so far this one is actually 100% watercolors. I'm hoping to have it done by Monday night at the latest, which means I can probably get two more paintings done before I leave for the cruise. Of course, I have tons and tons of classwork that has to be done by then too. Two of my classes are really intense with hard weekly assignments, but as long as I buckle down and don't procrastinate, hopefully my painting time won't be affected too much.
OH! And I joined Second Life today! SL keeps popping up in everyone's LJs, and at my school, so I'm signing up to take the first class in the US offered on SL, which is pretty darn cool. I created my character and started playing a bit today... Fianna Greenwood is my SL name. I love the name Fianna, it's awesome I can actually use it for something. I'm hoping I can make clothes and accessories in Photoshop and sell them in SL like some artists are doing... how cool would that be?!?
