I found out why the rum was gone...
Well, we did it. Five days after packing up, we're in our new apartment. Oregon is beyond beautiful, and SO SO SO SO SO SO much cheaper than So Cal, we do NOT miss being there at all!!! I caught Tim trying to throw out an UNOPENED bottle of rum, the biggest size the store sells, did I mention that? He still doesn't get why his best friend and I nearly fell off our chairs and had to rescue it! *sigh*
The apartmet is an unholy mess right now, and Tim made the mistake of taking me in a bargain antique store today, so we have even more stuff... but decorating is so fun, it's all good! Will write more after we're settled in...
