L'Shana Tovah
Yes I know the last time I posted anything was May, but well...I'm lame and easily distracted, so sue me :) Anyway, holidays are a great excuse to post so, L'Shana Tova to all whom believe in such things. I am actually really grateful for a really darn good year, so I'm just going to hope that whatever book and page I was on this year I can sneak back on for next year. It makes me feel pretty guilty though as I have not done much to earn my good luck streak (I haven't killed or maimed anyone mind you, but "a saint I ain't").....kinda makes me wish I were Catholic, so I could do a bunch of Hail Marys and go on a pilgrimage or something to assuage my guilt. Not that feeling guilty isn't perfectly Jewish, but sadly we don't have the same instant gratification assuagement system. Yom Kippur is nice and all, but only clears you with the man upstairs, all the dumb stuff you've done to others and the world around still sticks. Oh well, here's hoping that God is distracted by bigger trouble makers than me and I can sneak onto the same page unnoticed for another year!
