i <3 HBO! they come up with some good shit dude. I didnt have class yesterday, so basically me and the other grad student (once he got back from his class of the day) spent like, 5 hours watching band of brothers. which, not only is it not as sad as i thought it would be, (when they kill off people its ...impersonal? i dont know what they do, but it's like, whoops, there goes bob, and not oh god, boooooooooooooob!!!!!!) alvarez! (thats his name right? lol) is in it! and he's still alive! might lose a foot soon to frostbite, but he's still kicking! it makes me happy. XD
oh yeah, classes start today...i got the bug class, and a floormate has already takes it since its an undergrad course, so she has teh notes already. so i should be able to pwn that class....seminar is gonna take us to lake tahoe and the personal identification methods class....seems to have no midterm? it seems really odd, but maybe the syllabus online is just a guidelines sorta thing, and not whats really gonna happen. :P i dont particularly like the idea of everything resting on one test.
and go karting is hard! my arms hurt! and i got called out once for heavy impact with the wall(though i would swear someone smashed me into it!)and the fumes made everyone nauseous. I did get a sketchy face mask though.
