Harry's Law

so much awesome in this series.
granted, some people had issues with the episode with a Trans woman, but i looked at it realistically that each person views themselves differently, and if she wants to identify herself one way, no one can tell her differently, and its annoying listening and reading people bitch about it because they are closed-minded to that.
the character worked in a hall with other transvestites and drag queens, but she was Trans, and the writers made it clear to whomever was paying attention that she knew who and what she was, as well as every one else and accepted that.
i hate it when people either don't pay close enough attention to blinding facts or are closed-minded.
it hurts me sometimes when people in the GLBTQIA scene are closed-minded, because if you want people to be accepting of you, you need to be accepting of them as well, even if it is accepting their different viewpoint.
of all things in the world, closed-mindedness is the one thing that should never be tolerated, because that is what perpetuates racism, hatred, and overall negativity throughout the world.
i'm sorry if that sounds harsh of me, but its how i feel. there is so much going on out there that could be different if people actually tried to fix the issues, tried working together, tried being accepting, tried making life easier on themselves and others, just tried in general.
