My mother-in-law called a couple of hours ago and announced that she'll be here for a visit, either tomorrow night or Wednesday morning. Besides the fact that the house is NO where near 'company-ready' I'm also dealing with my current feelings about her (that I basically can't stand her and don't want her near my children).
I have no idea how I'm going to get ready for this visit - both the physical state of the house and my personal emotional state towards her.
Please send all highly-contagious diseases my way so I can have a good excuse to tell her to stay away.
(Oh, and also send prayers, for my husband says I'm going to hell for the things I've said about her.)
