Quilting!
I'm going to try to be better about posting. Not likely, but worth a shot.
So I have a new obsession - quilting! I love it so incredibly much. I have finished quilts for each of the boys, have pieced and have partially hand quilted a wallhanging, and am currently working on quilts for my grandmother's birthday and Jim's grandmother's birthday - both of which are in July. Thankfully, I have gotten a bit of an extension because we're not going to Florida for the 4th of July as we originally planned. (They'd have never been done for that deadline.) James is at Cub Scout Day Camp this week, so today, I've spend quite a bit of time working on the quilting of my grandmother's quilt. My piecing isn't perfect, and my actual quilting skills are limited (I'm machine quilting these, as I did the boys' quilts, because otherwise they'd never get done), but it's still exciting to see that I can put something together like this. If I had my way, I'd do nothing but quilt all day.
Gotta go quilt some more!
