Happy St. Patty's Day! WOO! It's good to be Irish. :P
Anyway, today was such a nice day!
My plans with Chris got canceled. :( Poor thing had to work this morning for a few hours and by the time he got home we wouldn't have had much time to hang out. Besides, my mother AND sister both stayed home from work/school today. It would not have been much fun. I'm not mad. I just really like spending time with him. I felt bad cuz he was so tired and whatnot. We'll reschedule, no biggie. It'll just give him a chance to miss me. And I can pick out a favorite song on the CD he made me. hehe. :P <3
So, since I had nothing to do I went out and about with Mommy. We didn't really do anything, just ran around Steinway doing little things here and there. It was just way too nice to stay indoors and watch crappy television. So, we went out for a couple of hours, did some window shopping. It was nice. So we get home at around 2. At about 2:30 my doorbell rings. I have no idea who it could be, so Lisa goes downstairs to answer it. I hear someone walking upstairs with her. I thought it might be Chris to surprise me or something. Nope. It's JEN! So, I was pretty shocked. She said it was too nice to stay indoors in Long Island, so she drove here. *shrugs* hahah. So, we went down to Astoria Park and walked around. Then we played in the park for a while. heh. She had her digital camera with her, so we took some pretty funny pictures of us on the slide and on these animals things. It was fun! haha. We just hung around there for a bit.. it's just pretty down there. I haven't seen her in a while either, so it was good. I love surprises! :) hahah. I was just so shocked to see her there. She was also playing hooky from school. Tisk tisk. Yea, like I'm one to talk. So, that was cool. After she left I just hung around here for a bit more. I was supposed to cook dinner with mommy, but neither she, or Lisa felt like eating. So, I ended up eating cheese. :P How very non-irish of me. Now I feel bad about canceling dinner at Chris's house. Sorry! hehe. SO, after dinner, Mommy felt like going out again cuz she needed something at the store. So, we went to the store, then I stopped in my job cuz I saw Diane. :) We shot the shit with her, and I ended up picking up some more hours for this week. Pretty neat! :) Just a few extra morning hours on Friday and Saturday. Yay me! :) I could totally use the money. I <3 Diane. :) Now, I'm back home.
