Wow, exciting times this morning. Dave and I were in the apartment and we heard a guy screaming something outside. We ran over to the window and there were these two dudes in the parking lot. The one was talking rather loudly and stumbling, like he was drunk. He proceeded to get into his vehicle, back out of the parking space very slowly,

Seriously, I hope the guy got caught and that he didn't hurt anyone by his stupidity.

Have fun at the State Fair! We didn't go this year as it was too crowded for us when we went last year; plus with our planning a trip to Illinois (which I told Dave about, as well as that we still want to coordinate visiting you both on a separate journey!) and ensuring each of us keep up with our own expenses, we're really penny-pinching right now.

the fair was great! i still never got up the guts to try the deep-fried pepsi. maybe next year, right? hmmm.....

I would be slightly afraid to try it as well, but I probably would, anyway, as I always like to try new things at least once!

Yeah, luckily we get free tickets because my family is high-class when it comes to the state fair. *LOL* Plus, we don't ride rides, play games, or buy trinkets. We just like to eat and look at stuff. So we do pretty good at just spending around $20. However, we do try to watch the money and even more so in the near future.

I try not to spend excess money at any fair, either, other than at whatever homemade ice cream booth is there! Besides that, the majority of food at (at least) our county fair is not worth eating by my standards. (Remember, I am a health freak now! LOL)

I didn't even get to our county fair this year! Like I said, it's more important to Michael and I to save up for our trip to Illinois. Nonetheless, he and I still allow ourselves to have a little fun during the interim, as appropriate.
