(no subject)
hmm so this weekend i stayed in...again. the week leaves me feeling so drained that i feel lik doing stuff takes too much energy. hello camita! but then again i havent made any plans and sofie wanted to hang out w/me so maybe im not that antisocial. hmmm but i do think sof only wanted to hang out w/me b/c jeanny is in st. louis. maybe shes the antisocial one w/no other friends.
so on fri me and sof had our movie nite it actually got extended to sat nite too so it turned out to be a movie weekend. we went to blockbuster but skipped the pizza this time. our nutritionist is really getting to us i guess. so anyway we rented arrested development season 1, documentary "mad-hot ballroom", angels in america, and sisterhod of the travelling pants. a good balance i think of tears and laughter.
we watched arrested development first. most ppl havent heard of it but it won an emmy i think and some golden globes but has really low ratings. it almost got cancelled its first season but those fox execs changed their mind after the nominations. i havent seen it in a while since its not on sundays anymore and i dont really hav time to be watching teevie during the week. my sis had never seen it before and i wasnt 100 percent sure she would like it. she did tho! she said that she could "understand y i like it b/c its so random lik u" jaja. i luv the "nevernude" guy! jaja. sadly i found out this weekend that fox is cancelling it and theres wont be more than 13 episodes this season. tragic i noe. lets hope some cable network picks it up.
after that we saw mad-hot ballroom. i was sooooo AMAZING. i recommend it fully to...everyone. its about the ballroom dance program in some elementary public schools in nyc. i actually wanted to see it for awhile but dint see it at blockbuster until this weekend. the kids practice their dances and compete to go to this city-wide competetion. and let me tell u how amazingly cute they are! i luved one of the grls that did the rumba. she and her dance partner had this super strong eye contact that was sooo adorable. and that grl could move her caderas! woa! watch out chongas. those kids were all damn good at the end. i guess it would hav been dissapointing if they werent.
sisterhood of they travelling pants made me cry so much. u couldnt expect otherwise but i dint think it would be that bad. sof put it as one of her fav movies after we saw it.
i dint get to go see iznogoud this weekend but i am glad i got to spend some time w/sof and my momma too. i ate a disgusting amount of meat this weekend b/c of my mom tho. i think she thinks im not eating enough or something. but force feeding me meat just made me sick.
