I will never truly understand how things like this happen.
According to wikipedia, human nature is the range of human behavior that is believed to be invariant across long periods of time and across very different cultural contexts. Yeah, yeah. Whatever.
How in the world do some of these people just live with themselves, in general, after doing something like this. Does the world really care so little at times? Or is it just individuals who don't care? How is it that people can find disconfort with the people they are related to, friends with, etc? Then again, in this case, he admitted he knew he was not guilty, but appeared to feel guilty enough to hide her body regardless. Or was it the money? They say money is the root of all evil. But damn -- that SS check could not have been worth that much. Money should not be a factor in family, love or relations. Some days, I dislike what our world has become.
