It's been too long!

I haven't updated this in a while but I have had a very busy week!

Jason came on Saturday and we went to Maritha and Steve's for dinner with my parents. It was a lovely night; we had curry, had a chat, and used something called Soul Cards. They are cards with different images on them, no interpretations for them, you just have to come to your own interpretation of what the card means to you. I got one that we all decided was to do with knowledge and intellect. ha!

On Sunday we didn't do much. An old friend came over and everybody left me with him for THREE HOURS. I wasn't impressed. To be honest, I don't want him to come back over because I know I'll be bored shitless and I'd rather be bored on my own.

Monday, me, Jason, and my mum went into London. We went for dim sum which was Jason's birthday present hehe! I had no idea what to get him so I just decided on food. He enjoyed it! We then went to meet Maritha at work - she works in this very posh clothes shop in the City where a bow-tie costs over £65. After that we went to the British Museum. I absolutely adored it there - went into the Enlightenment room which I squeed about muchly because I love the Enlightenment! And then we went to the East Asian room which had Chinese, Japanese, Tibetan, Hindu pottery, statues, jewels etc. That was a beautiful room. My mum then wanted to go into the Ancient Egyptian section but that was ridiculously busy. It was wonderful though. My favourite part of that room where the collection of Shabtis, they're so cute!

We didn't do much else after that to be perfectly honest. On Monday night we went to a pub quiz at the Queen's Head with Sarah and Grant and went out on Tuesday night (also with Sarah and Grant). We were hoping to go to the cinema but missed all of the films by about 20 minutes so instead we got Dominos, headed back to my house and watched Lee Evans!

Jason had to go home yesterday as it was his sister's birthday so I took him back to the station and when I got home I ended up watching Full Metal Alchemist until another friend popped over. I went to the pub with him for a natter, went home, and then went out again to the pub. There was a pub quiz going on so Sarah, Grant and I took part in that as well! We didn't win anything though which was gutting!
