4 day weekend, and not the good kind...
Most of the weekend was really good...But it was also a bit rough...I caught a pretty nasty cold and ended up not coming to work yesterday in my attempt to recover...I'm still a bit sick, but felt well enough where I couldn't justify another day of hangin' out on my couch w/ my laptop...
Friday was Burn's Night...As
evwan reported, it was a great night...I was SO proud of him...His piece sounded really good and the crowd was really into it...It was also AJ's first major performance with the Highlanders...Sharing a table with

stauquin,
fuats, Gordon, and Meliss was good times too...
Saturday it was
evwan's birthday!!! We spent most of the day hanging out since that was the first day of my cold...That night we went out for pizza and cake at Old Chicago with
bec29, AJ,
stauquin, and
fuats...Which meant more good times...
Sunday was a bit rough...I was illin' all day...Like Saturday, we spent most of the day hanging out...That night it was the annual turkey fry, so we headed over to
jennae and Cain's...As usual, turkey dinner was awesome...And we got to meet
jennae's new kitten, McLuvin'...I LOVE MCLUVIN'!!! He's such an awesome kitten...I think we played with him all night...I cut our evening short though, because I started to feel mega-crappy...But on a good night...How about Eric Staal as the All Star MVP?!? NICE!!!
I didn't go to work yesterday on account of my junky cold...I spent all day on the couch with my laptop watching Scrubs DVD's...
evwan was really sweet and grabbed me some Krispy Kreme doughnuts and some Starbucks (cause he didn't want me up and around to make my own coffee)...
At work currently...Looks like I should be busy for a good part, if not all of the day...
Better get to it...
