Coffee...I love it...
Subject says it all...I love coffee...I love that our office has Treasure Valley coffee delivered...And I love going to The Library for coffee...
My birthday was awesome...evwan gave me the best present EVER!!! He suprised me by flying in bec29 for a few days...I had no idea until her presence was unveiled at the MP3 Showdown...It was so awesome...I was pretty embarrased because I got all teary, and we all know that I do not cry in public...But its okay...bec29 is worth public shame...
The MP3 Party was SWEET!!! I came in 2nd place...evwan made jennae and I the awesome cake!!! His yellow cake recipe has gotten perfect...And after much trial and error, he has finally gotten pretty damn close to Publix buttercream icing...Just thinking about the cake me making me want more!!! Here's a picture of the cake...I was so impressed...Look, its shaped like a little iPod!!!
After the party we hit up IHOP w/ Ravina, Heather, stashia, and lit0r...It was a lot of fun, sadly, I wasn't able to eat, I didn't want to anger the gremlin, but it was a good time...Then we all headed home to pass out...
Sunday was sweet...We took bec29 to The Library for breakfast, and then driving up around the mountains up toward Bogus Basin and then stopped for Hawkin's Packout (/drool)...Then we hit the zoo, rose garden, and fun time paddle boats...I took a lot of pictures...I'll have to upload and post them soon...Then it was home so bec29 could attend to her sunburn and so that evwan could make a tasty dinner...
Monday evwan had to go to work...So bec29 and I went to visit him and have breakfast...Afterwards I took her to our mall/Old Navy...I behaved and got a body wash/lotion (flowered herbs smell) and manly face lotion stuff for evwan from Bath and Body Works and a cute tank top that cost barely $5...bec29 found TONS of good stuff for school next year...Apparently our mall is lucky...Afterwards, evwan met us at Chili's for lunch...Then we headed home to relax a bit before people came over for pizza and hockey...Hurricanes won...WOOHOO...
Tuesday was a bit of a sloth day for me and bec29...We spent a good part of the morning in our jammies watching bad day time TV...At this moment, I'm seriously wondering what's going on w/ Young in the Restless.../sigh...She liked The Library so much we headed over again and then bummed around Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Pier 1...Since it was my actualy birthday day, we all went out to dinner at Johnny Carino's...But for some reason, bec29's dinner didn't come out with ours and she had to wait like an extra 15 minutes...So all of our dinner's were free!!! Then we had dessert at TCBY and headed home for an epic Super Puzzle Fighter battle...
We got up early on Wednesday and got her all packed up to go...We had more Pastry Perfection breakfast so she could say goodbye to evwan...We were kinda outta stuff to do, so I took her to the airport a little earlier than I preffered...I wanted to park and go hang with her for a little, but as usual, I had no cash to pay for the parking...So I dropped her off and headed into work...Post work I headed over to the Nelson's to grab stauquin for coffee...We had a good time/good talk...Then we went back over to her place to watch the hockey game...Carolina did not win...So hopefully they'll win on Saturday, I don't think my nerves can handle a game #7...
Not much going on today...After work I'm heading off to the gym...Tomorrow is the company picnic...So the office will close down at 4:30 so everyone can head home and change/grab spouses and kids and head over...Looking forward to it, should be a lot of fun...Weekend is looking quiet, which is a good thing...I'll clean a little, grocery shop, and do the laundry (my typical weekend things)...But evwan and I are looking forward to a weekend of laziness...This post was really long since I don't have my client at work to put a bunch of cuts all over it...I'll probably add the cuts later tonight...
