What comes first, the chicken or the sex?
Okay, haven't updated this thing in a million years. For starters, my sister had a baby last Monday! Very exciting! She had a boy, Mitchell 6 pounds, 6 ounces. He is such a little peanut... so cute! I've seen him 3 times so far. I would go over there everyday if I could. I'm so happy for my sister and my brother in law... my sister finally got her baby! And I finally get to be an aunt!
As for jobs, I've gone on 3 interviews in the past two weeks. Honestly I'm hoping that they can look past the fact that I'm 4 months pregnant and that I'll need 3 months off in 5 months and hire me still, but we'll see. I'm not getting my hopes up or anything. It would just be nice. I can stay here at Aveda, it's fine. But it would just be nice to get started in a job that I went to school for ya know. But it's not just the fact that I'll need those three months off after I have the baby, it's that I have doctor appointments. I have two coming up in the next three weeks and I don't have to take anytime off of work right now because I work nights and that is really nice actually. And eventually I'll have to start going to the doctor every three weeks, and then ever two weeks, and then every week until I have the baby. That's a lot. It's a lot of time to take off at a place I just got hired at and I completely understand that. I guess I was just hoping that the staff would like me so much they would be willing to look past that, but I know it's not personal, it's business. They'd have to find a replacement for three whole months, that's a lot.
Anyways, I'm getting excited, I have an ultrasound a week from Monday. I honestly don't care what I'm having as long as he/she is healthy. I can't wait to have a picture to look at. Well I think that's all I have to say for now. Have wonderful day! Stay classy San Diego
