Beginning of the week/End of the world~ same thing.
Ahh, the joys of Monday. I was given ever more strict instructions on just HOW to be a good little office monkey~ including checking the fax machine EVERY 2 MINUTES (I shit you not, people) and doing almost nothing else. HuuuuurrrahhhH!!! I am sooo very excited about my (less than advertised) position. I was supposed to be learning the real estate business, because I've already got office monkey down pat. Ah well, bitching only makes it seem like a bigger deal. Saw the school counselor today~ he thinks my new technique idea of getting my accounting cert in order to aquire the means and schedule necessary to attend school for something more substantial is a good one, so I'm going with that. Damn Sacramento!!! My wages last year were too high (coulda fooled me) so financial aid isn't looking that good. Maybe I can go on CalWORKS or something of that nature, food stamps and all that goodness in order to attend full time....
In other news, my weekend was good. On Saturday, I babysat Hailey all day, we had a blast!! Did a little gardening at my house, went out to lunch, to the children's fair, to Bidwell park to ride bikes, go in the creek, and to the "Castle Park" I think it's called Caper Acres, the coolest park ever, with underground tunnels and everything! Needless to say, she was asleep 2 minutes after we got home. :) Then I went to the party at Cherie's house~ a collegue at a title company~ I swear, I forever feel like a social malfunction, but hey, I keep trying. Figure it's got to get better with practice, right? Sick yesterday, but what else is new? And I'm finally getting the wheels turning for my house~ might actually move in sometime this century! whahooo!!!
