Sara's Birthday Project
Hello everyone!
I am SO pleased to announce that Sara's Birthday Project (though still VERY much in its infancy stage) is ready to take off.
What exactly is Sara's Birthday Project? Well, let me give you some backstory...
A small group of us were trying to figure out a way to get the community involved in honoring Sara for her birthday on August 31st. We all thought that it was a shame that the "Flowers for Sara" project never actually came to fruition. So, I proposed that we gather up all of the letters that you guys have already written and put them together as a package to give to her as her present from her fans. Then we decided to take it a step further... Let's gather all those letters (or even have people write new ones...) and perhaps small works of art (drawings, collages, poems, etc.) then throw them all into a kind of scrapbook.
The gals at itsprojecttime did such a PHENOMENAL job with Brooke's scrapbook and we thank and acknowledge them for presenting and carrying through with such a great idea for the community! Now, we'd like to do something similar for Sara's birthday.
