Update. Something entirely new for me, one might suspect, as it's been weeks since my last attempt.
So how's everything? Relatively decent I would say. College is decent, still school... with homework and essays and lectures and tests. The lectures prove themselves to be interesting most times, with the exception of math and english, but sociology, theatre, and history are quite enjoyable. 3 outta 5. Can't complain... too much ;) I've decided to change my major from mass communications to elementary education... something that has been lurking in the crevices of my mind for years now, and something I plan to make happen. Only 105 credit hours to go and I can be a teacher... complete with apples and play time and story hour. I hope I haven't lost my mind! lol
Birthday's comin up soon. Doesn't seem like it's been 19 years. Time creeps by so fast. But I'm ready to be outta my teens and into the "adult years". And even more ready to be outta school and er... back in school I guess. Can't really complain, though, with 9 hour days, no weekends, and summers off. Really kinda excited about the whole thing. Just think... one day I could be teaching your kids! (Don't move away yet... I think I could do this!) But back to the birthday, I'm more curious as to see what Jakey's gettin me than anything else. It better be good, after what I got him for his! SOOOO ANXIOUS!
Greg graduated this Friday. I hope he comes home soon!! I miss him like crazy... and I can only imagine how ready Amanda is to have him back! Life is just not the same without him... I just love my Gregory.
Tennessee lost to Auburn again. Dammit. The guy in my sociology class is never gonna let that one go. Oh well.... Me and Hayley will just have to put up with it. Until next year, when we'll be back! (HOPEFULLY)
So I got to see Mikey the other day. Great times. I miss him. Relationships do make it difficult to continue old traditions... with him in Auburn or at work and me at work or at Jakey's, we just can't keep up with each other. But seein him last week was great stuff. And his haircut's so cute. Yay for my spongebob!
And I heard from Ebay the other day too! YAYYYY! I miss my precious! But I am so glad to know she's havin a blast in T-Town. As long as she doesnt have to wait on Allison to get outta the tanning bed! haha Needless to say, her posts (Ebay's, not Allison's) have been quite interesting lately. Shite in the Shower? Ugh... but interesting nonetheless.
Congrats to Erin on being awarded "Friendliest" in this year's Who's Who! As if there were any doubt!
How's work you might ask? Awful... so I'm lookin for a new job. Put in a couple applications at banks down here and I'm just waitin to hear something. I sure hope I hear something soon... so soon. So very soon.
Birthday updates: Scooter's birthday is tomorrow, Oct. 4th. My dad's is the 5th. Amy's is the 7th. Buddha's is the 13th. My birthday is the 14th. My sister's is the 15th. Todd's and Adam's is the 17th. Then comes Halloween. Can't wait for that one!
