(no subject)
Today, I went to the second interview for that job that I've been talking about. It went incredibly well and Joel (the hiring guy) told me that it's currently between me and two other people. I made it to the top 3! Anyway. He told me that the other two people have a lot of experiance in this kind of thing. I figured when he said that, he was just trying to let me down easily, but he suprised me by saying that he really likes me a lot and likes the way I've presented myself. He told me that he started out in this field with no experiance and that he knows that all you need is for someone to give you a fair shot. He asked me if I would be interested in playing a little waiting game until the end of March or so, he's working on another position that he thinks I'll be really good at. I don't know for sure if I'm going to get the job that I applied for, he told me that he'll let me know by Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon. Assuming that doesn't work out though, I do have a future in Cox Health and I will definately have a job there by the end of March!!!!

This is exactly the job that I've been looking for. The hours are 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday, so even though it's a full-time position, the hours are really great and I would have weekends off. This is the kind of job that I could have and still have a family. The pay is $9.25/hr which is good for this area and considering I don't have any experiance in this field. There are countless benefits and this would just be perfect for my family.
So. I'm feeling optimistic. I was really upset when I didn't get that bank job and I've been feeling pretty low about myself. I'm feeling better now. Assuming I have to wait to get the job, I'm planning on using this month to get my house completely in order and really enjoy spending time with Evan.
