Mommy Survey! Among other things :)
I start work tomorrow and I'm pretty excited about it. I went in today and filled out all of my paperwork and got my uniforms. Everyone is really excited about me coming back and I'm glad that Evan will get quality time with his Daddy and my mom. :)
Tonight, I'm babysitting my little cousin, Faith. Having two babies at once is sure an experiance! They're both currently taking a nap, so that's good. It's going well so far, but I'm only about an hour in. Evan seems to be jealous when Faith is in my arms. Faith is such a sweet little baby girl. She loves being held, but also enjoys sitting up like a Big Girl and watching tv. I got some very cute pictures of them together. After I go back to work and have some money, I'd like to try to get their pictures taken together. :)

Pregnancy
How did you know you were pregnant? I was a little tiny bit late on my period, though I didn't really realize that. My periods were crazy before I had Evan. I just ~felt~ different.
How old were you? 20 -- almost 21.
Was it planned? Not exactly. We weren't trying, but we weren't really being careful, either. I wanted to get pregnant after we got married, but it just happened a little early for us!
What foods did you crave? During my first trimester, I wanted everything citrus all the time. Oranges, grapefriuit, clementines, orange juice, etc. During my second trimester, I wanted mexican food and faijitas all the time. During my third trimester, I wanted watermelon a lot. I also really loved the smell of Dawn while I was pregnant, and couldn't stand the smell of sausage.
Any morning sickness? Yes, during my first trimester, but I think that a lot of my problem is that I was working too many hours and not being able to take really good care of myself. I wanted to sleep as much as possible, but I had to work a lot, so that didn't work well. I only threw up a couple of times, but I felt sick to my stomach constantly. It went away completely as soon as I got into my second trimester.
What was the worst side effect? Being super emotional all the time, the extreme swelling of my legs and feet, and being tired all the time.
Who was your doctor? Dr. Tama Franklin. Loved her so so so much!
Did you find out the sex? Yes
Due date? July 2nd, 2011.
Labor
Were you induced? Nope! Well, I had a C-Section.
Where did you start labor? I didn't actually start labor.
How long were you in labor? n/a
How long did you push? n/a.
Did you have an epidural? I had a spinal block, but that's pretty much the small thing. Most. Painful. Thing. Ever.
Vaginal or C-Section? C-Section
Was there complications with the labor and delivery? None!
Did you cry when they were born? I teared up a little bit, I was just ready to get out of the surgery room and hold my baby in my arms.
Who was in the delivery room? Just Danny, my husband. I had a lot of family in the waiting room, though. My mom and dad, my Meme, my Aunt Bobbie, and Danny's mom. My cousin Cody and his girlfriend Mandy showed up as soon as the baby was born, along with my best friend, Ellie. Derrick, my borhter came up shortly after Evan was born and brought my Granny to meet her great-great-grandson.
Have an episiotomy? Nope.

Are they a smiler or a cryer?: Kind of a mix of both, he does cry often, but he loves to smile as well.
What makes them fall asleep?: Night time routine: bathtime with Daddy (on nights Daddy's at home) drink a bottle with rice in it, snuggles with Mommy until he's tired (but not asleep!), then he goes into his crib with his sleep sheep on. He generally falls asleep on his own pretty quickly.
Are they the first?: My first, Danny's second.

How much weight have you lost?: 50 pounds exactly since the day Evan was born. I went back to my pre-pregnancy weight without any effort.

How did the grandparents take it?: They were all very happy.
Did your friends stick by you?: Some of them. I didn't lose any friends, I just realized who the really good ones were. :)
Did anyone throw a baby shower?: Yes, my aunt Bobbie and my Mom did one for family, and Jill did one for friends.
Has anyone helped since the birth?: A little here and there. I've mainly been on my own.
Are you happy you're a mommy?: Absolutely. Evan is the best thing I've ever done.
