I really enjoy my japanese class. I'm by FAR the worst at Kanji, but the best at speaking. This makes for alot of amusement since everyone likes to crowd around me and ask me how to say things we don't learn in class. Nyaan-sensei thinks I have the cutest voice when I speak japanese, apparently I speak with a soft Kansai-don and sound like I'm 14? ^^ Okay, I'll take that.
There is a really annoying anime fan who likes to sit behind me everyday and ask me how to pronounce things that are right in front of his face in our textbooks. I try to help but it gets old. A cat latched onto me at work and bit me pretty bad (now I'm on rabies quarantine...joy) so I was feeling sour anyways. This same otaku whispered into my ear the moment I sat down in class with his hot breath:
Otakujin: Meli-chan, how do I say-
Meli: Ano..don't call me Meli-chan...
Otaku: AH! SOO! Meli-san, I mean.
Meli: That's right...
Otaku: Meli-san, is there anything else I can say when sensei calls my name for roll? Besides Hai? I wanna impress her! She's KAWAII!! SOO KAWAIII!!! DOMO KAWAII! How can I sound smart?
Meli:...well...when she calls your name, you can stand up and say "KUSO!" She'll like that. > : 3
Otaku: Soo desu! KUSO!!
Meli: Fwufufufufu....remember to sound genki. ^^
Classic...
