“Thank you for your hard work!”
It was a cold night as they slowly make their way ‘home’ through the park for the last part of the filming today. It has been a long day which started from early morning for makeup, mid morning choosing their wedding attire followed by almost a whole day of photoshoot.
As they slowly make their way through a nearby park, Yong is being his choding self by starting a snowfight and Hyun was momentarily distracted from her train of thoughts. Of cos the boys know of the late night text messages, phone calls and all the signs that has been showing for a while now.
“Well, we sort of kiss...” Yong began.
“That’s the way!” MinHyuk shouted victoriously.
“Ya punk! Do you want to hear or not?”
“Sorry!”
“Two times actually. First I had to kiss her on her forehead and then she gave me a kiss on my cheek. But honestly, I was so nervous. And you, JungShin have to make such a big deal out of it.”
JungShin rolled his eyes.
“It was afterall her first time.”
“Are you going to confess to her for real? I mean hyung, you guys are more or less like a couple for real except that no one really said anything.” JongHyun wisely pointed it out.
“I know but I guess both of us are comfortable this way...I don’t know. I won’t know where to start either.”
“But hyung...” MinHyuk twirling his drumsticks, “won’t it be the same as avoiding it?”
“I guess you are right.”
“Geez hyung, I am sure you are not that dumb,” JungShin earned a whack on his head. “Ouch! Why you do that for?”
“Just because I can.” Yong smirked.
“Hmmphhh! Anyway, as I was going to say, the signs are obvious. What more do you want? You can’t expect the girl to say something first right?”
“I guess so. I am meeting her later anyway."
“Just do it!” the three boys gave him a ‘fighting’ sign.
With the support and encouragement of his boys, perhaps tonight might be the night.

Hyun waited patiently at the corner of the MBC building together with HyoYeon, Yoona, SooYoung and Tiffany while the rest of unnies went off in another car. A black car pulled up in front of them and the window winded down to show a smiling Yong.
“Yong Seobang!” the girls greeted him.
Everytime Yong sees the girls, they never fail to amaze him with their boundless energy.
“Make sure our maknae get home safe later and don’t be too late!” SooYoung warned him.
“Ay ay captain!” Yong saluted the other girls while Hyun got into the car.
“So oppa, where are we going?” Hyun getting excited even though it’s past 2am.
“Secret.”
“Hmmmm...come on tell me.” Hyun putting out her best aegyo.
Yong just threw her a look and continued to drive on.
Finally they reached their destination, a small little cafe hidden from the eye of the public by the side of Han River. Yong got out of the car, went over to open the door for Hyun and took her hand as they walked slowly towards the cafe. They took their seat in the most secluded part of the cafe. As it is New Year’s, there were only another old couple apart from them. Apart from taking their order, the cafe people literally left them alone.
“Happy New Year Hyun!”
“Happy New Year Oppa!”
“It has been a great year for us right?”
Hyun nodded.
“Definitely a great year. My band debuted and did ... I must say pretty good for a rookie. I got a permanent emcee job with SBS and appeared in various variety shows. We got to perform and visit a number of countries around Asia. Wow! It’s been a great year!”
Hyun pouted and Yong laughed. He was waiting for that.
“But my year’s main highlight would of cos be getting married to you.”
Hyun suddenly became shy and looked down.
“Oppa...”
“I think errmmm....”
“You think?” Hyun shyly inquired.
“Errmmm... should not be beating about the bush. I ermm... like you a lot.” Yong took both of her hands in his. Feeling amazing that they fit very well in his.
“And I .... want us to be together for real.” Yong ended his short speech nervously.
A moment of silence and he panicked. Oh no, what am I thinking? All thanks to my boys.
“Errmm... I mean, if that’s ok with you. I errrr understand if its too soon for you. I mean, you know. Like ermm...never mind, just forget what I said.”
It took Hyun a second or two to register in her brain what Yong is saying to her. But before she could say anything, he went on again.
“Joh-aheyo”
Yong was about to continue on to say something when he heard Hyun. He smiled shyly and squeezed her hands. They spent only another hour just enjoying each other’s company because Yong promised her unnies he won’t bring her back too late.
As they walked out to the car, Yong put his arms around her to keep her warm. Hyun smiled at him and slightly leaned further into him. He automatically wrapped his arms tighter around her.
The car sped at a reasonable speed towards Hyun’s dorm. Both not wanting the moment to end but reality bites as they have schedules to attend tomorrow. After half hour, they arrived at the SNSD’s dorm.
Hyun bite her lips nervously when the car stopped in front of her dorm. She wonders if he is going to give her a kiss. Yong is trying to build a certain degree of courage to kiss her good night. Should he? He wonders. Afterall, it’s still just the beginning for them. But seeing her nervously bitting her lips, he can’t help but think perhaps the maknae is not as innocent or naive as everyone think she is.
“Ya! Seo Joo Hyun, do you want me to kiss you?”
Hyun blushed and whacked his left arm.
“Ah! Seriously!” she opened the car door.
Before she could, Yong pulled her back and press his lips against her soft lips. Initially in shock, Hyun blinked her eyes but slowly she closed her eyes as their kiss got deeper. It was Yong who broke the kiss and as he gazed into her eyes, his fingers caressed her cheeks. Hyun smiled lovingly at him and he felt that heaven has been so kind to send him an angel.
“Good night Hyun.”
“Good night Oppa. Text me when you get home.” Hyun waved.
The lights from her dorm can still be seen and she knows that her unnies are still up. Most likely waiting for her to find out what happen tonight. It is a good night.
“I am home, Hyun. Sleep tight.”
“Don’t let the bed bugs bite, oppa.”
Yong leaned back on his bed as G.Dragon’s voice filled the night.

Note: I don't know for sure if Yong has gotten his license but since its a fiction, so just take it as he has. Also I have not been to Korea before so am not that familiar so I just simply made up the cafe by Han River.
