(no subject)
So I took the job offer. I'll be working 8-5. I think it's a good thing for now. THe money is good. The 8-5 desk job...well I am excited about it, but this is not what I want my life to become. I want to write. I want to teach writing. You know I sit and make up creative writing exercises up in my head. Exercises that I would assign to my college students. Too bad its a profession that never hires. A position that pretty much is non-existent in most universities. Sigh. Oh well...I'm exicted about working with the people I work with. THey are taking me out to congratulatory lunch. Which will be cool.
Lisa and I cant stay away from the snow. We're heading back to Shasta tomorrow morning. It's gonna be colder than hell..but I wanna get some sledding in. And Jaime loves the snow. So...my week in a nutshell.
