De-lurking day

Jan 18, 2007 16:26

I'm still sick which is absolutely boring and while I could talk about how every muscle in my body hurts from coughing so much what's the point?

So instead I am going to do what everyone else is doing in the blogosphere and ask that you de-lurk in my comments section. I'm pretty sure I already know who reads my blog but it would be nice on such a crappy, sniffly, cough-filled day if everyone said hi and told me a little about themselves. Especially since the Mister and I finished season one of House of Eliott yesterday and I finished the latest book review book and can't start another one until I write the review. And this is day two of not being allowed to talk (because I have almost no voice and talking = apoplectic coughing fits).

I will start.

Something you probably don't know about me is that I love raisins. Seriously! I eat them every single day - usually on my porridge and also just by the handful. Or with peanut butter on celery or wrapped up in a wrap (peanut butter, sunflower seeds & raisins  on a wrap = yum!) I can't remember a time when I didn't love raisins and in elementary school other kids who had raisins in their lunch would just give them to me.
Actually, I started making my own lunch in Grade 1. My brother was supposed to do it but he really sucked at it so I ended up making both of our lunches. I never put enough food in it though so at the fine art's school I went to starting in Grade 4 they had this great idea where if you had any leftover food you weren't going to eat you could put it on the stage and kids who didn't have enough to eat could come and take some. Well, I was always going to the stage because I was always hungry and soon kids would stop off at the table I was sitting at offer me food before they put it on the stage. I went through a crazy growth spurt at that time so no wonder I was always hungry. My friend Emese's Dad used to pack an extra sandwich with her everyday for me. I have been the same height since the sixth grade.

Your turn.
