Journal #14 - La Estancia, quite the hotel
Hello, hello. How are you?
I'm so excited to finally be able to post this entry that I’ve been planning for months!
Overall, it was my first wonderful adventure of the year so I can't wait to share it on the blog anymore
Chincha. I have been to La Estancia twice and everytime was really fun.
Last year, one of the clients of my dad invited my family to a free vacation in his hotel. My sister loved the place so much that after a few months, she asked our bestfriends and me to go back for her birthday. To make it more special, we decided to turn that trip onto our first girls getaway and stayed 5 lovely days in total ♥
Of course, we went out to explore the city and buy souvenirs (wine, above all) from time to time, but our principal activities were in La Estancia. We ate a lot (Jennifer got this 4 seasons dish that I still can't believe she finished) and lounged in the pool for hours. We visited the "mini zoo", sang karaoke (Tania even asked for Los Pollitos -the rap version- and Paola found it!) and danced to Kesha's insanity. In resume, it was one of those amazing first experiences that we'll never forget.
There are no photos of us dancing C'mon but here I leave some of the hotel (:
The second time I went to Chincha, I paid more attention to the sky. Lima is cloudy most of the year so everytime I travel, I look up and realize I'm not in my city anymore. It's so amazing!
Thoughts while writing this:
- Livejournal structure has changed so much... and why is it in Spanglish?
- I've got a new dog :D look forward to my pictures
- My boyfriend and I are living and working together AND it's a success!
- I love him so much
- I'm taking a lot of photos for a new brand tomorrow (:
- My dad is traveling in a few hours
