due time
Since it's been so long since i wrote anything on here, i'll give a little update. Last night i found some old videocassettes and i was feeling pretty nostalgic so I popped them in and nothing could have prepared me for what i found. It was Cheryl's and my English presentations from grade 9, they were so awful, the hair, the adidas glasses, the uncomfortable camera shyness of a 15 yr old.. but very funny to watch. The best part is when ruth got a hold of the camera and the footage of her urging me to dance to Aqua's barbie girl and me crossing my arms telling her it's not funny. Then she haggardly filmed my dog and the christmas tree with barbie girl still playing.. at one point she told me to move cuz i was in the way of the tree and like a total teenager and i tude-ishly responded "not my fault" There was also a point where i was wearing my now Baba glasses in cheryl's presentation trying to look like an eccentric author. I also watched old camp videos and I swear i would kill to have the hair and the tan that i had the summer i was 17, maybe i'll just buy some fake hair that looks like it. Midterms are finally over and i did really well on Stats so that's a load off. This week work didn't schedule so I'm indulging in a lil post midterms vacay, just dicking around, going to the gym and playing computer games. I picked up shifts for friday nite and sat day tho and hopefully sat nite we can all get together for something fun-ish. I'm still hoping to take my mom for breakfast and massages at the inn at the forks next week but we'll see. Also on the agenda is Brandon Fair which i could not be more excited for. I think it's the last week of March. I also have a couple shows coming up, probly sooner than i think which is great. I think I might be doing summer session again since i changed my career plan again, but we'll see how go-getter i feel at the end of april, right now im just trying to figure out how to apply to Env Design. The other weekend Dennis Quaid performed at Club Regent Casino which I am still trying to sort out in my mind, seems too bizarre that a man with a decent acting career would end up doing some stag performance in winnipeg in a tropical casino.. Oh, reading week was good too, valentines we watched dvds and ate taco dip as planned, i think it was that friday lisa, megan and i went to a most horrible bar that i wish to never visit again, but still a good time. Last saturday was ando's semi-annual? party while the rents are out of town swaray. It was a very good nite and i enjoyed myself thoroughly. Sunday i watched a bit of the oscars, which was almost tedious to get thru, i was happy that grandpa from little miss sunshine won tho. Today i have to go purchase sophie's license which i hope is $5 since thats what my mom left on the table. I also have to get a schedule in to work and retreive my art history book from archives before they claim it as their own.
