school's out!
this past weekend we went to grand forks but since kjati did a pretty good recap i wont bother with a play-by-play except that it was fun. today was the last day of classes and it turned out to be a fantastic day. lisa took me to salvation army to meet megan and her boyfriend for my surprise and it was.. a wall of casino style tropical shirts! which was really hilarious and pretty much the best surprise ever. some lady had a fit on the way out yelling "this is the salvation army! ur not walmart!" lisa bought some party dresses for half off, i found a kathy comics book and on the way out we rummaged through a toy bin where i found the funniest damn thing ive ever seen. its a bust of a bald man with a moustache that whistles a hi-larious tune. i plan to put it on my dashboard and not say anything when ppl get in and push the button. i need to start driving more random ppl around.. then we went to burger factory for lunch where we sat by a fake tree just like the one at work that is always in the way and i almost dropped on a lady's head on mother's day. it was a good cheeseburger but it gave me a tummy ache so now ill be wary of burgers for a while. then lisa and megan introduced me to an extremely enjoyable past time, watching sessions at the legislative. first its fun to look at all the architecture and every time period they borrowed inspiration from but watching several adults act like grade 7ers topped it off. there were ppl reading newspapers, texting on their phones, drinking water and standing out of their seats. one lady was wearing a skirt that was much too short and i think megans bf called her the minister of getting it on. some guy was trying to be the "fun guy" and made a joke, busting through the door at the last moment before presenting his bill exclaiming "im here!" then he yammered about payday advance establishments and said andrea would be shut down, just kidding. after laughing at the disorderly adults we left cuz it was ridiculously hot. with a little googling ive found where my hilarious toy comes from and its from haunted mansion, which we totally sold while i was an employee at mcdix but i dont think we had cuz i would most certainly remember the hilariousness that this thing is.
